Sonnet of Hope
Clouds darkened the
city,
Fortress of Doom
covered it
Inside the locked
fortress,
Satan left his minions.
Corruption ate as a
termite,
Lies shattered faith
of people,
Helplessness ceased
the moment,
Death, suffering,
pain contributed
Despair washed
innocent minds.
But wait. . .
A thin ray tore
through dark clouds,
Struck into the
fortress of evil,
Enlightened it much
as it could
Savior is what is
needed,
Once again faith will
rise.
